988nm PUMP Laser

The PUML series fiber-coupled laser diodes are FP-type lasers specifically designed for pumping doped fibers in EDFAs. These diodes deliver high output power and include a built-in photodiode for precise monitoring and feedback control of the laser’s output power. Encased in standard butterfly packages with TEC cooling, they are pigtailed to a 1-meter single-mode fiber terminated with an FC/APC connector. Each unit undergoes rigorous testing to ensure reliability and is available in both single-mode (SM) and polarization-maintaining (PM) fiber-coupled versions. Additionally, we offer a cost-effective, high-performance feedback control laser/TEC driver kit that maintains constant and adjustable output power, along with an externally cooled mounting fixture to stabilize the output wavelength. It is available in module or benchtop.
