Pulse energy, repetition rate, pulse width
LPS-532-S532 nm green Q-switched pulsed laser
532 nmThe LPS-532-S is a 532 nm nanosecond lamp-pumped solid-state laser. The specified pulse energy is 30–150 mJ. Select energy, timing and cooling for the same configuration. A pump lamp supplies optical energy to a solid gain medium, and the resonator amplifies the laser light. Lamp excitation and thermal recovery are important when setting the repetition rate. Q-switching stores energy in the gain medium while resonator losses are high, then lowers those losses to release a pulse. Pulse energy and repetition rate must be considered together, because changing the pulse spacing changes the average power for a fixed pulse energy.

Select energy and timing together
Specify pulse energy, repetition rate, pulse duration, trigger requirements and cooling for the same configuration. The maximum energy and maximum repetition rate can describe different variants. Energy per pulse is quoted in μJ, mJ or J; pulse duration is quoted in ps, ns or ms.
