Pulse energy, repetition rate, pulse width

EO-266-Subnano-Hi266 nm deep-UV Q-switched pulsed laser

266 nm

The EO-266-Subnano-Hi is a 266 nm nanosecond diode-pumped solid-state laser. The specified pulse energy is 1–500 μJ at 5 kHz. Select energy, timing and cooling for the same configuration. Laser diodes optically pump a solid gain medium inside a resonator. The pump supplies the energy; repeated passes through the gain medium amplify the laser light. Q-switching stores energy in the gain medium while resonator losses are high, then lowers those losses to release a pulse. Pulse energy and repetition rate must be considered together, because changing the pulse spacing changes the average power for a fixed pulse energy.
