Deep-sky astrophotography
Two-stage TEC, ΔT ≥45 °C helps control thermal noise during long exposures of galaxies, nebulae and star clusters.
Deep-sky cooled
ToupTek ATR533C is a cooled deep-sky camera using the IMX533 sensor, with 9 MP (3008 × 3008), 3.76 µm pixels and 40 fps. Designed for deep-sky astrophotography, one-shot colour deep-sky imaging, high-resolution galaxy and lunar imaging. Available from Precisometer for professional astronomy systems.

Application context
Choose the ATR533C when your telescope and target benefit from 1-inch square, 11.31 × 11.31 mm sensor coverage, 3.76 µm sampling, two-stage TEC, ΔT ≥45 °C and 380–690 nm response.
Two-stage TEC, ΔT ≥45 °C helps control thermal noise during long exposures of galaxies, nebulae and star clusters.
The colour IMX533 sensor captures broadband targets without a separate LRGB filter sequence.
3.76 µm pixels balance image scale and detail for appropriately matched telescope focal lengths.
14-bit acquisition, 87 dB dynamic range and regulated cooling support repeatable quantitative observations.

Technical FAQ
Mount: M42 / M54 astronomy adapters. Use a lens image circle that covers the sensor and check flange distance before adding C/CS, F-mount or M42 adapters.
Sensor: Sony IMX533 color CMOS · Sensor Type: Back-illuminated square color CMOS. Match pixel pitch to the diffraction-limited spot the optics deliver. Sampling finer than the optics resolve multiplies data volume without adding information; sampling coarser discards resolution you have paid for.
Frame Rate: 40 fps · Interface: USB 3.0. Confirm the host can sustain the interface bandwidth continuously, not in burst. A camera that outruns the write path stalls acquisition rather than dropping quietly to a lower rate.
Dynamic Range: 87 dB · Read Noise: 1.9–0.34 e⁻. Judge these figures at the exposure time you will actually use. Cooling matters where dark current accumulates over seconds; read noise dominates short exposures where it never does.
