FL-266-PS266 nm deep-UV mode-locked fiber laser
266 nmThe FL-266-PS is a 266 nm picosecond fiber laser. Pump energy is supplied to an active fiber, which guides the light and provides optical gain as it propagates. Output coupling then delivers the amplified beam to the experiment. A semiconductor saturable absorber mirror (SESAM) becomes less absorbing at higher intensity, helping short pulses build through passive mode locking. Pulses shorter than 10 ps deliver the energy in a brief interval; pulse energy and focused spot size determine the intensity at the sample.
