Applications & selection

ATR428M applications

Deep-sky astrophotography

Two-stage TEC, ΔT up to 45 °C helps control thermal noise during long exposures of galaxies, nebulae and star clusters.

Narrowband nebula imaging

The monochrome IMX428 sensor is suited to H-alpha, O III and S II filter workflows.

High-resolution galaxy and lunar imaging

4.5 µm pixels balance image scale and detail for appropriately matched telescope focal lengths.

Photometry and time-series imaging

12-bit acquisition, 76.4 dB dynamic range and regulated cooling support repeatable quantitative observations.

When to choose this camera

Choose the ATR428M when your telescope and target benefit from 1-inch, 14.4 × 9.9 mm sensor coverage, 4.5 µm sampling, two-stage TEC, ΔT up to 45 °C and 380–1100 nm response.
