ZAMP Detector Transimpedance Amplifiers

A low-noise current-to-voltage amplifier family connects current-output optical detectors to voltage-input acquisition equipment. Eight gain settings cover different detector signal levels.

ZAMP Detector Transimpedance Amplifiers
ZAMP-A / ZAMP-B

Best suited to

Single-point silicon, InGaAs and photomultiplier measurements.

Selecting a configuration

Choose gain around the largest expected detector current and the downstream input range. Check bandwidth and detector capacitance together to avoid compromising response time or stability.

Measurement & configuration

  • Eight gain settings from 10³ to 10¹⁰ V/A.
  • ZAMP-A uses an external power adapter.
  • ZAMP-B supports adapter or rechargeable-battery operation.
