Gated, framing & streak cameras
FC Ultrafast Framing Cameras
A beam-splitting camera assembly records two, four or eight gated images from one event. Single-exposure and four-channel double-exposure configurations address different frame-count and timing requirements.

Best suited to
Non-repeatable combustion, discharge, detonation and plasma events.
Selecting a configuration
Provide the required number of images, exposure and interval for every frame. Eight frames from four double-exposure channels have a different timing sequence from eight independent channels.
Measurement & configuration
- Independently timed intensified channels.
- Visible and ultraviolet configurations.
- Integrated acquisition and timing software.
Plan the signal path
- 1One fast event
- 2Timed optical channels
- 3Frame sequence

Configuration note: The narrative specifies intervals down to 1 ns. In four-channel double-exposure operation, the fourth-to-fifth image gap is at least 250 ns. The source summary table contains inconsistent timing values; confirm the full timing sequence.
