Pulse energy, repetition rate, pulse width

LPS-M-10641064 nm near-infrared pulsed laser

1064 nm

The LPS-M-1064 is a 1064 nm pulsed lamp-pumped solid-state laser. A pump lamp supplies optical energy to a solid gain medium, and the resonator amplifies the laser light. Lamp excitation and thermal recovery are important when setting the repetition rate. Pulse duration sets how briefly the energy is delivered, while repetition rate sets the interval between pulses; average power alone does not describe the peak intensity at the sample.
