Broadband lamps & plasma sources
150 W & 450 W Xenon Arc Sources
Fan-cooled xenon lamp housings with a stable-current power supply and a collimated 46 mm output. The 150 W and 450 W formats support broadband excitation and illumination with application-specific filters and coupling.

Best suited to
Broadband UV, visible and near-infrared excitation on an optical bench.
Selecting a configuration
Choose source power and bulb spectrum before specifying filters and coupling. The 150 W source kit includes the housing and power supply; its xenon bulb is ordered separately.
Measurement & configuration
- Vertical source-height adjustment for optical bench alignment.
- Fan cooling and dedicated current supply.
- 46 mm output interfaces with compatible source accessories.

- 2Collimation & filtering
- 3Sample illumination
Specifications

Xenon source formats
| Model | Lamp power | Spectral coverage | Optical-axis height |
|---|---|---|---|
| GLORIA-X150A | 150 W | 200–2500 nm with UV-enhanced bulb | 137–173 mm |
| GLORIA-X450A | 450 W | 250–2500 nm | 157–193 mm |
Coverage depends on the installed bulb and optical components. The standard 150 W bulb has a different UV cut-on from a UV-enhanced bulb.
Configuration note: Bulb, filters, fibre coupling and other accessories must be specified with the source. A lamp spectral range does not imply calibrated irradiance at the sample.
