Pulse energy, repetition rate, pulse width
FS-F-515D515 nm green high-power pulsed laser
515 nmThe FS-F-515D is a 515 nm femtosecond fiber laser. Pump energy is supplied to an active fiber, which guides the light and provides optical gain as it propagates. Output coupling then delivers the amplified beam to the experiment. Pulse duration sets how briefly the energy is delivered, while repetition rate sets the interval between pulses; average power alone does not describe the peak intensity at the sample. Pulses shorter than 300 fs deliver the energy in a brief interval; pulse energy and focused spot size determine the intensity at the sample. The quoted power range represents factory-set configurations; specify the required output rating when ordering.
