Pulse energy, repetition rate, pulse width
AO-RM-280280 nm deep-UV Q-switched pulsed laser
280 nmThe AO-RM-280 is a 280 nm nanosecond laser source. Q-switching stores energy in the gain medium while resonator losses are high, then lowers those losses to release a pulse. Pulse energy and repetition rate must be considered together, because changing the pulse spacing changes the average power for a fixed pulse energy. At the nominal 5 kHz repetition rate, pulses shorter than 25 ns arrive about 200 µs apart.
