Femtosecond lasers & amplifiers
Optical Parametric Amplifiers
Wavelength-conversion platforms for a suitable Yb-based ultrafast pump laser. The HP and HE versions provide complementary signal and idler tuning intervals, with optional shorter-wavelength conversion stages.

Best suited to
Tunable ultrafast excitation when the pump laser wavelength alone does not cover the experiment.
Selecting a configuration
Specify the pump pulse energy, duration and repetition rate, then the required output wavelength. The amplifier requires a compatible external pump laser.
Measurement & configuration
- Linearly polarised signal and idler outputs.
- Optional wavelength-extension stages selected with the base amplifier.
- Published output energy measured at 750 nm.
Plan the signal path
- 1External ultrafast pump
- 2Parametric amplification
- 3Tunable signal & idler
