Tunable sources & filters
Broadband Tunable Filter
A motorised filter for selecting a visible band from an existing broadband source. Input and output collimation provide a configurable interface to supercontinuum and other suitable illumination systems.

Best suited to
Selecting a visible excitation band while retaining more spectral width than a narrow monochromator setting.
Selecting a configuration
Specify input beam geometry, spectral power and the desired bandwidth. Transmission through the filter and coupling efficiency describe different parts of the optical path.
Measurement & configuration
- Motorised band selection over the visible spectrum.
- USB control for automated wavelength scans.
- Collimator input and output; source purchased separately.
Plan the signal path
- 1Broadband input
- 2Motorised band selection
- 3Collimated filtered output
