High Speed 1×6 Fiber Optical Switch: 100ns, 18dB On/Off

The NS Series 1×6 high-speed fiber optic switch is constructed by cascading five 1×2 switches. It connects optical channels by redirecting an incoming optical signal into a selected output optical fiber. This is achieved using patented non-mechanical configurations with solid-state all-crystal designs, which eliminate the need for mechanical movement and organic materials. The NS fiber-optic switch is designed to meet the most demanding switching requirements of ultra-high reliability, fast response time, and continuous switching operation. The switch is intrinsically bidirectional and selectable for polarization-independent or polarization-maintaining by the fiber type. The device comes with a PCB driver that operates with a 12V DC power supply and 5 independent TTL control signal inputs.
