WheeLED sources hold up to 10 LEDs behind 22 mm collimating optics and switch between them by hand (WLS-22-A, WLS-23-A) or motorised from software (WLS-22-M, WLS-23-M); the -23 versions also take deep-UV LEDs.

WLS-23-M: Mightex Motorized WheeLED TM wavelength-switchable LED light source (UV-NIR) let users switch between a selection of LED sources from UV to NIR, with up to 10 wavelengths of color and/or white LED’s using a PC software GUI or using SDK. Includes an integrated software & analog voltage-controlled LED driver, and output intensity may be controlled by software (USB2.0 interface) or by an user-supplied 0-5V analog voltage input (BNC connectorized).
Many applications require wavelength-switchable sources. For example, in vision applications different types of objects may require different illumination wavelengths for optimized contrast. Mightex motorized WheeLED TM wavelength-switchable LED sources let users switch between a wide-range selection of LED sources with different wavelengths and/or white LEDs. The selected LEDs are installed in the light source chassis in the factory. Users can then switch among the installed LEDs via the provided software GUI. A high-NA aspherical collimating optics is included for precision collimation and high light throughput. Clear aperture of the optics is 22mm in diameter. Other optional optics may be added for fiber/lightguide coupling and other functions.
The light source includes an integrated software and analog-input driver. Over-current protection is built into the light source to prevent potential damage during switching.
An optional focusing module can be mounted on the front of the LED collimator to focus light into a tight spot which is an image of the LED emitter. An optional light guide adapter is available to couple the LED light into a lightguide, and an optional fiber-coupling adapter is available to couple the LED light into a multimode fiber patchcord.
Here are the steps: 1) A WheeLED wavelength-switchable LED source consists of a main chassis (P/N: WLS-22-M for motorized version). For example: Position#1: 470nm, Position#2: 365nm, and Position#6: 530nm.
