545 nmThe OEM-S-545-MD is a 545 nm continuous-wave diode-pumped solid-state laser. Laser diodes optically pump a solid gain medium inside a resonator. The pump supplies the energy; repeated passes through the gain medium amplify the laser light. Continuous-wave operation provides a sustained beam for experiments that need steady illumination. The specified fiber connection delivers the generated light to the experiment; its core size, numerical aperture and connector need to match the receiving optics.
