Automatic Polarization Extinction Ratio Meter
The PERM is a benchtop polarization extinction ratio meter designed for precise measurement of polarization extinction ratio (PER) and polarization angle in polarization-maintaining (PM) fibers, making it ideal for testing PM components and connectors. It supports wavelength ranges from 400 nm to 2500 nm and features a front-panel connection port compatible with FC/PC (narrow- and wide-key), FC/APC (narrow- and wide-key), LC/PC, and SC/PC connectors, with adaptors. Additionally, it has an adaptor option for measuring bare fibers. A push-button operation initiates measurements, displaying PER and misalignment angle, while USB connection enables remote operation and data recording via a user-friendly GUI. The PERM operates using a rotating polarizer in front of a photodiode detector.

Polarization Dependent Loss Multimeter
The PDLM Polarization Dependent Loss Multimeter is based on three electro-optical crystal and an advanced maximum and minimum search method to provide Accurate PDL and DOP measurement in less than 20ms. The PDLM features fast measurement, large measurement dynamic range, bright display, and an analog output port for easy integration in automated measurement stations. The PDLM provide high PDL measurement accuracy of less than 0.05dB over both large and small value. covers a wide wavelength range from 1260 to 1620 nm without wavelength calibration. PDLM comes with USB, Ethernet, GPIB and RS-232 interfaces and is ideal for fast, accurate characterization of the wavelength dependence of passive devices, especially silicon photonic devices, DWDM and fiber sensor components, in manufacturing environments as well as in laboratories.

Polarization Extinction Ratio Meter
The PERM-800 optical power meter is an innovative solution that directly measures our output polarization extinction ratio from a fiber. It features unmatched low cost, all wavelength options, a large dynamic range, and high resolution. The design adds a rotary polarizer to an optical power meter. As the polarizer manually rotates, maximum and minimum intensity readings are obtained, and the ratio is ER. The rotation is continuous, providing high resolution and accuracy. The design accepts all types of fiber connectors as well as a free space laser beam. One attractive option is bare fiber can be conveniently inserted into the meter, which matches our PM fusion splicer, fiber holder. The PERM-800 is also an optical power meter. For the connector test, the polarizer rotary is pre-aligned to the key. The ease of operation has been proven in production and laboratory environments.
