ARGON-ION UV REPLACEMENT GUIDE: FIGURE PROVENANCE Checked: 23 October 2026 The two wavelength figures are original plots prepared for Precisometer using standard plotting software (matplotlib). No third-party photograph, publisher figure, manufacturer drawing or AI-generated raster artwork is included. No third-party image-reuse permission is needed to publish these original plots as part of this guide. The referenced documents retain their own terms. wavelength-comparison.png / wavelength-comparison.svg Shows selected argon-ion UV line positions (351.1 and 363.8 nm) from NIST metrology research and Precisometer nominal wavelengths (349, 360 and 364 nm). Colours identify source categories, not the appearance of UV light. Y positions are categories, not power. No spectral width or continuous tunability is implied. centre-wavelength-tolerance.png / centre-wavelength-tolerance.svg Shows a 363.8 nm target, a 364 +/-1 nm specification, and a 363.8 +/-4 nm specification. The intervals are centre-wavelength tolerances, not laser spectra, linewidths or tuning ranges. The argon target marker has no linewidth encoded.
